Your Resource for Navigating a Transition Season!

Our mission

We help global workers navigate life in transition—from short furloughs/home assignments to returning to their home culture—so they won't feel stuck. Are you ready to find your next step on your journey?"

Furlough/Home Assignment

"Navigating Life in Transitions" is designed for those currently serving in the field or in their furlough season. This resource provides tools to help you navigate the complexities of transition, whether you're adjusting to life in a new culture or taking a much-needed break during furlough. It acknowledges the unique challenges you face during these periods and equips you with practical strategies to maintain balance, process emotions, and prepare for what’s next, whether you're continuing your work or preparing for re-entry into your home culture.

 Returning to your Passport Country

Season 1: Return

Encompassing the nine months prior to departure from the the field to the initial six months upon arrival to your home country.

Season 2: Restore

Spans approximately six months to two years after arriving and encapsulates the space between the overseas expereince and the transition to what comes next.

Season 3: Rebuild

Extends approximately two to five years after returning  as you integrate your life overseas into their next life season.

Our Approach

We go beyond the traditional one-week debrief care model, offering a comprehensive, long-term support system. Our 6-week groups and digital courses provides a deep dive into your re-entry journey. We also offer a two-year membership with ongoing resources, tools, and community to support you no matter where you are in your transition—whether you’re just returning home or already adjusting but need continued guidance.

Are you uncertain about where you are on your journey? Take our quiz to find out here!

Our coaches have not only professionally trained in debriefing, trauma care and transition management, they have walked their own re-entry  journey.

Now, we can help you!

We even have opportunities for those wanting to help others on their re-entry path, by becoming a certified re-entry coach for your organization.

 Coaching Debrief Sessions

Are you interested in personalized support to help you navigate the re-entry process? One-on-one coaching can provide tailored guidance and encouragement you and your family may need during this transition. You will have the opportunity to address your unique challenges, set meaningful goals, and develop strategies for a successful re-entry.

6 Session Cohorts

The Restore and Rebuild cohorts happen through the year. We welcome anyone who has lived overseas, whether vocationally or otherwise. Forge connections with like-minded individuals who understand the complex journey of re-entry.

Training and Consulting

Does your organization need Re-entry Coaches? We train and consult with non-profits and churches, to help them prepare for the needs of their Re-entering Global Worker.

You don't have the time or capacity to work with your global workers in re-entry? No worries, we can take that off our plate. You can gift them coaching sessions or a cohort!

Testimonials

"Shonna has encouraged me through some really rough things and has been able to direct me to valuable resources for stress assessment and trauma healing. It means a whole lot for people who care to walk life with you. Shonna’s been one of those people for me and my family, and I’m so thankful for what she brings."

Laura B. Cross- Cultural Worker 14+ years

“It was a gift from God for my husband and I to be able to participate in both Restore & Rebuild.  It was just what we needed at this time. We came into Restore heavy in grief, trauma, and not knowing how to unpeel the layers in our hearts, body & soul. We knew we needed to be around others that were walking through reentry of which is hard to find.  Having Shonna facilitate and lead us through biblical principles to create space to be heard, to heal, and be present is just what we needed.  After 12 weeks of prayerfully working through the material with others have lead us into a new space of further healing, dreaming and curious about how God will use our treasured stories & experiences in this new season of life back in our home country.”
